PAN-SEARED SALMON WITH TASTE OF CHI BUTTER FINISH

Ingredients

For the Salmon:

• 1 salmon filet (skin-on), cleaned and patted dry

• 1 Tbsp olive oil (for cooking)

• 1 tsp olive oil (to rub on salmon)

• 2 tsp Taste of Chi™ ‘G.Herb.Oh Everything’

• 2 tsp Taste of Chi™ ‘Let Me Get Extra Lemon Pepper’

• ½ tsp Taste of Chi™ ‘Stony Island Seafood’

• Salt, to taste (optional)

For the Butter Finish:

• 2 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted

• ½ tsp ‘Let Me Get Extra Lemon Pepper’

• ½ tsp minced garlic

• Dash of black pepper

• Juice of ½ lemon

Instructions

1. Rub salmon with 1 tsp olive oil. Season both sides with the G.Herb.Oh Everything, Let Me Get Extra Lemon Pepper, and Stony Island Seafood blends. Add a pinch of salt if desired.

2. Heat 1 Tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until hot.

3. Place salmon skin-side down in the pan and cook for about 4 minutes. Flip and cook another 4–5 minutes until golden and cooked through.

4. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Let Me Get Extra Lemon Pepper, minced garlic, black pepper, and lemon juice. (Note: This butter will be made ahead of time for the segment.)

5. Plate the salmon and pour the butter sauce over the top. Optional: Serve with pre-cooked sautéed spinach seasoned with ‘Who Made the Greens’ and Lemon Pepper.
