1. Are your seasonings salt-free?
Yes! Every Taste of Chi™ blend is salt-free with no added sodium — just bold, Chicago-style herbs and spices doing all the work. Add salt if you want it, skip it if you need to. Either way, the flavor is never optional.
2. When will my order ship?
Please allow 7 to 10 business days for processing and shipping. Every blend is handcrafted in small batches to ensure freshness and quality — good things take a little time. Business days do not include weekends or holidays.
3. What is your return policy?
All sales are final. Due to the handcrafted nature of our products we do not accept returns or exchanges. If there's an issue with your order, please email us at info@allyalacarte.com within 3 days of delivery and we'll make it right.
4. Do your seasonings contain allergens?
Some blends contain spice-based allergens including mustard, celery, garlic, onion, cumin, or cinnamon. Every product page lists the specific allergen information for that blend. All Taste of Chi™ blends are prepared in a home kitchen that also processes milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy, and sesame. We do our best to minimize cross-contamination, however we cannot guarantee that any product is free from these allergens. If you have a severe allergy please review each product page carefully before purchasing.
5. How should I store my seasonings?
Store your blends in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep the lid tightly sealed after each use to lock in peak flavor and freshness. Properly stored, your blends will stay fresh for up to 2 years.
6. Can I use Taste of Chi™ blends if I'm not salt-free?
Absolutely. Most of our customers aren't! These blends were designed so that everyone at the table can eat the same bold, flavorful food. Salt lovers, low-sodium folks, and everyone in between. Season your way.
